Who We Are

"Extraordinary success is simply many tiny improvements linked together over time."
- Shelby Downing

Philosophy

Stand Strong is built on the philosophy that anyone can train like an athlete. We believe an athlete is someone who trains with purpose and has the determination to get up each day and keep striving! If you learned how to walk, you know what it takes to be an athlete. You just might need to rediscover the part of yourself that will not accept failure, the part that will fall down and get up again & again & again. Find the innate part of yourself that refuses to crawl & soon you will be running.

At Stand Strong we believe when individuals come together to create a strong, supportive and inclusive community, that anything is possible. Together, we are always stronger!

Mission

Our mission is to support people of all ages & athletic abilities to feel empowered & confident on their journey to optimal physical health.

To an older athlete, optimal physical health might mean having the ability to be active with grandchildren.  To a high school athlete, it might mean striving to play a college sport.  The point is, the desired outcome is different for everyone, but the fundamental athletic process is the same whether you are 9 or 99.  In training like an athlete, whether for quality of daily life, recreational sports, or a place on elite playing fields or platforms, Stand Strong athletes will achieve their highest performance potential and develop (or strengthen) a love of moving along the way!
